Smoky Mountain Rod Runs are something of a source of controversy in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the surrounding communities. Both famous and infamous, our automotive events bring much attention and traffic to the area and not everyone who comes to the Smokies for a relaxing or romantic getaway appreciates the attention and traffic, but the rod runs and car shows are quite some events that those who love cars and gorge themselves on and create quite some parties all the same.
And not every car event is a rod run, either. Our rod runs come in Spring (April) and Fall (September). Apart from that, we have other smaller car shows all throughout the county. In this article, we wanted to name some of the car shows we typically expect to see each year, where they are generally held and when they can be expected. Please note that with annual events, places, exact times or even the availability of the event itself may change, so please always refer to the official website links for information confirmation before making plans based on them.
